An online search was conducted using PubMed, CRD, EBSCO, Web of Science, Scopus, Cochrane Library with no limits on publication date or patients’ gender, age, ethnicity. Reviews meta-analyses randomized controlled trials pertaining drug therapy for TN, other relevant articles added from reference lists, were evaluated.
